 Description
 
The web-interface is able to display the status of all 1wire devices. Details are provided for the following list of devices:
  • DS18S20 : 1 wire thermometer (known as DS1920 on Windows systems.)
  • DS2406 : 1wire switches.

    • Details on these devices can be found on the Maxim-Dallas Semiconductor web site.
     

     Minimum hardware configuration
     

    The reference hardware platform is the following:

  • A computer with a linux distribution - Fedora core 4 is our test platform
  • A 1wire USB dongle
  • A 1wire network with DS18S20 to measure the temperature and DS2406 to command switches
    		•
     
    A simple box for this application could be based on a VIA motherboard running at 600MHz (size=17cmx17cm)
    This setup-box could be situated near the tank and be administrated by another computer when needed.

     Notes
     

    This project was tried on WindowsXP with EasyPHP with success.
    This version is not yet supported. Use it for demo purpose only
